Jet Propulsion and jet-boating was invented in New Zealand in the 1950's and many of the industry's advances have come from New Zealand engineers. For 30 years Konrad Scott has been at the leading edge of development in jet drives and jet boat performance.

In 1995 Konrad began building jet drives for the new sport of jet sprinting. Scott Jets quickly became the benchmark for the Jet Sprint World Series and Scott Jets have won every World Series since 1995.

Scott Jets quickly developed a reputation for being rugged and ultra reliable. Early Scott innovations were hand-made with super efficient impellers which could reach up to 6,900 revs - enabling higher flow and higher pressure through the pump, interchangeable nozzle inserts, and easy clean grill system, removable front impeller housing, etc.
