It all began in the Clarkston, Washington, shop of legendary boatbuilder Ernie Duckworth in the late 1960’s as he began building a couple of rugged welded aluminum jet boats for running the demanding whitewater of the nearby Snake River Hells Canyon. His rugged designs soon caught the eye of fellow boaters, and the "Duckworth" brand was soon developing its legendary loyal following.

Today, Duckworth Boat Works, Inc. ("DBW") manufactures and distributes through independent marine dealers "Duckworth" brand welded aluminum fishing, sport and commercial boats.
