Functional Description:

A cabin cruiser is a power boat that has accommodation for its and passengers inside the structure of the cabin cruiser.  There may also be accommodation for a crew on a larger cabin cruiser.

A cabin cruiser usually ranges in size from 8 to 10 meters (25 to 35 feet) in length.  A cabin cruiser is usually equipped with a head (toilet), a galley, and at least one berth. A cabin cruiser has a small dining area and some have an aft cabin.  Cabin cruisers are equipped with heating, power generators and usually air conditioning.  Cabin cruisers have water heaters and shore power electric systems.

Cabin cruisers are manufactured from various building materials.  Fibreglass with a gel coat finish is the most common.  Other composite building materials for cabin cruisers are kevlar, dynel, carbon fiber and epoxy.  Cabin cruisers can also be manufactured from aluminium (aluminum).
